She graduated Mugla Sitki Kocman University department of chemistry with a high degree. Title of the thesis: “Investigation of Radical Removal Capacity of Fifteen Serratula Species”. She completed her master’s degree at the same university with her thesis titled “Investigation of The Effect of Temperature on Chemical Compound and Bioactivities of Armillaria mellea (Vahl) P. Kumm. Species”. During her master education, she worked on organic synthesis a semester at Anadolu University with Farabi Exchange Program.

She completed her doctorate title with the thesis titled “Isolation and Elucidation of Bioactive Secondary Metabolites from Tricholoma caligatum (Viv.) Ricken and T. fracticum (Britzelm.) Species” as a TUBITAK-SBAG project in 2018. In meanwhile, she got a degree in pedagogic training in the Education Faculty at Mugla Sitki Kocman University in 2015. Her main research interests are plant/mushroom/algae chemistry, isolation, and elucidation of natural compounds, antioxidant activity, anticholinesterase activity, tyrosinase and urease enzyme inhibition activity. After developing her doctoral project, she won TUBITAK- 2214-A scholarship and worked as a doctoral researcher at The University of Mississippi.

Currently, she is going on research with TUBİTAK-1004-COVID – 19 Project which is “Development of Drugs and Raw Materials to Reduce External Dependence against Pandemic Corona Virus (COVID-19) with New Synthesis Methods and Formulations”as a post-doctoral scholar (STAR).
