Fatma Özlem Zurnacı graduated from Gebze Technical University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. She did internships at Istanbul University Aziz Sancar Institute of Experimental Medicine and GTU Tazebay Lab. She completed a graduation thesis at Gebze Technical University Aziz Sancar Biological Clock Laboratory with the project titled “Investigation of the roles of PER2 and BMAL-1 biological clock proteins in cisplatin resistance” within the scope of Tubitak 2209a projects, after obtaining approval from the university students research projects support program. Afterward, she started a master’s degree in Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology at Istanbul Medipol University.
